At the East River Sharks, our mission is to provide opportunities for NYC youth to experience travel baseball, regardless of their financial circumstances. Since our inception in 2017, no player has ever been turned away due to a lack of financial resources, as diversity, equity, and inclusion are the very principles upon which our organization was founded.
In addition to providing opportunities for youth to participate in the beautiful game of baseball, we believe that caring for our neighbors and helping those in need is the true measure of success. This commitment requires us to stand firmly against the calculated efforts of divisive political forces to block solutions to our greatest challenges, choosing instead to save our communities and our planet by rejecting the systematic nonsense of those who profit from holding us back.
